A really fantastic safe site in a pretty village. We were made so welcome by the site owners. Great for walking and cycle rides. Stayed an extra day we loved it so much. Beautifully maintained and cared for. Will be back.

A beautiful site in a fabulous location just outside of the stunning village of Clipston, and just five minutes walk from the village pub. Incredibly welcoming, with a couple of cup cakes left for us by the owners!
Dog-friendliness: Has an area to exercise dogs in a paddock.

Nice place friendly owners, Could only give 4 stars as church clock strikes every hour 24 hrs, Power cables cross part of site so be careful of bird poo but well kept, Have to pay upfront with no refund if you have to leave but can return to use any credit at later date in the current season

We wanted a fairly local cl to try out some features on our new campervan. Thanks to Buttercup Meadow's excellent online booking system we were able to check availability and book last minute. We were met by the owner, Jane, who kindly opened the locked gate for us (we had already received the code by email) There is a level well mown field with no set pitches so we were able to park next to a hedge giving good shelter from the cool northeasterly. The tap is by the gate into a further field containing an information hut, the elsan point and bins. Another gate gives access to a well fenced dog exercise field. All around the site are pony paddocks and pleasing views. Best of all are the little touches showing the care and interest Jane the owner has in this gem of a site - the herb planter to pick your own. the welcome sign and, unbelievably, her delicious homemade cup cakes in a gift box.
The cl site is on the edge of a pretty and historic village with interesting paths and alleyways to explore. There is a community pub, sadly shut Mondays and Tuesdays when we visited. Across the lane from the site is the village recreation ground with a children's play area, outdoor gym, picnic area and woodland walk - perfect for our dog to work off some energy.

What a lovely place to park up. Very easy to book using the online system and simple to pay, a great idea to pay in advance. A lovely touch of 2 small butterfly cakes from the owner when she came to make sure all was well. Definitely one to visit again.
Dog-friendliness: There is a separate fenced area to allow your dogs to have a run off the lead. Great idea.

Excellent site superbly kept ,owners lovely and so many nice extra touches you don't get at normal Cls. Nice village . We cycled the bike paths on the Saturday and Sunday and easy access to the cycle track from the cl. Very relaxing cl. Even the dogs get their own relaxation field . We would definitely recommend this cl.

Lovely site in a very pretty village with very friendly owner. Greeted with cupcakes. Thank you! Site very peaceful. Seating areas around the site for visitors to enjoy. Flower garden. Herb garden which visitors are invited to use. Within a mile of the Brampton Valley cycle track which gives easy access into Market Harborough or other local villages. Highly recommended.

What a great site, the cupcakes on arrival were lovely , very peaceful and relaxing , footpaths around the village aplenty, we did 20,000 steps over to kelmarsh hall and back. Then a visit to the pub which was very welcoming, Thanks for a great Easter weekend Jane and Andrew .
See you again very soon
